Ties Marc Solal

A beautiful object. Who hasn’t, at least once in his life, bought a tie simply because he liked the look of it, and then never worn it, or given a tie to someone who never wore it? Men’s wardrobes are full of ties they adore, wonderfully colorful ties that turned out to be unwearable. When worn, it becomes a different story altogether.

These are simple photos -one could say portraits- of ties. They offer a glimpse of thirty-five lives, and the thirty-five singular individuals behind each one.
